Night Reporter/Copy Editor
Job description
The Waukesha Freeman (Waukesha, Wis.), a publication of Conley Media, is looking for a well-rounded journalist to work on the newspaper’s night shift covering breaking news and helping our copy desk edit stories and lay out pages. The position requires excellent writing, editing, communication and social media skills. Experience with QuarkXPress is a plus. The hours for this position are typically 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at a daily newspaper, a bachelor’s degree in journalism, or a related field, and a proven track record of thriving in a busy newsroom.
