Location: Elmbrook Court Care Home, Grove Rd, Wantage OX12 7BY
Hours: 42 hours per week
Salary: £11.39 per hour
Shifts:Nights only
Contract: Permanent

What you will be doing:
- Leading a team of Care Assistants
- Managing the day-to-day needs of our residents
- Delivering the highest standard of care
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy
- Supporting family members and visitors
- Assisting with meals and daily activities
What you need to succeed:
- At least a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up/ or working towards it)
- Trained in medication administration
- Excellent people and customer service skills
- Ability to induct & supervise junior staff
- Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team
- Good communication skills – verbal (great communication within the team and to other external professionals) and writing (ability to write and maintain care plans) & digital skills
- Caring attitude
- Flexible and reliable
