Pavestone LLC, part of the QUIKRETE Companies, manufacturer for segmental concrete products for the commercial, residential, contractor, industrial and retail customers is seeking a Supervisor / Maintenance for its' Tyrone, GA facility.

Shift Available: 7PM-5AM

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Plant Manager and must work closely with other production management and maintenance personnel.
• Must have a team-first attitude while working with other company supervisors, peers, and direct reports.
• Will train all shift employees how to operate machinery and other equipment safely.
• Will eliminate and report any unsafe acts and conditions in a timely manner.
• Supervise production personnel and drive home a safety-first culture.
• Observe machine operation to detect workplace defects or machine.
• Read job specifications to determine and set-up machine adjustments and material requirements for various products.
• Meet quality control requirements.
• Communicate regularly with peers and consults with General/Plant Manager on all matters warranting disciplinary action.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on multiple types of PLC controlled manufacturing equipment including adjustments, routine set-up changes, and machine rebuilds.
• Able to quickly troubleshoot and make timely repairs on electrical circuits, mechanical components, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

We require:

• Must have manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Able to operate and work around industrial machinery while wearing the necessary personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands.
• Must be able to work with others and limited supervision.
• Must have at least 2 years proven experience in manufacturing environment to be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent
• Has working knowledge of electrical theory. 480 VAC 3 Phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC
• Strong mechanical skills including electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics and basic welding skills preferred.
• Can diagnose medium complexity circuits.
• Has ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
• Understands operation/setup of various electrical devices (i.e., sensors, motors, frequency drives)
• Has a basic understanding of PC & PLC architecture
• Has a basic understanding of ladder logic and basic PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Allen Bradley, Siemens S5, S7 and S7 Safety PLC experience a plus
• Understands safe work practices and has experience including but not limited to lockout, tag out, electrical safety, arc flash safety, and confined space entry.
• Facilities background is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and safely lift occasionally up to 50 pounds independently.
