A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Non-Medical Prescriber to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team in Nottinghamshire supporting people with substance misuse issues.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Non-Medical Prescriber to be based in our substance misuse team in Nottinghamshire. As an NMP you will carry out prescribing assessments and reviews with service users and work collaboratively with a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team.

You will have some experience of engaging with individuals with multiple and/or complex needs and demonstrate a determined approach to finding solutions. Some knowledge of one or more of the following is required:

Substance Misuse

Mental Health

Homelessness

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

You will have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you will be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.

Our NMPs benefit from half a day a month CPD time and active support with revalidation. We encourage a strong peer network and there is a facilitated monthly prescriber's forum.
