Must be a Licensed Nurse (LVN or RN), recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop schedules and shift assignments for direct care staff.
• Calculates and adheres to PPD budget for staff assignments.
• monitors and develops immunization scheduling and documentation for staff and residents according to policy and procedures.
• Coordinates with human resources to recruit and onboard new staff and staff retention activities.
• Participate in nursing management duties and staff development as assigned under the direction of DON/ADON.
• Track and document direct care staff attendance per policy and report to human resources.
• Participate in on-call rotations with other nurse managers.
• Participates in qualify assurance activities.
• Adheres to scope of practice limitations based on qualifications.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy, and state/federal regulations.
• Will perform general nursing duties in case of emergency or staffing shortages.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate general computer knowledge capabilities.
