Schedule: Monday-Friday- 10 Hour Shift or 8 Hour Shifts, with availability for on-call and weekends.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support orthopedic care or in the Urgent Care Clinic. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner may assist the surgeon in the clinic and hospital rounds.
What You Need For This Job:
- Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) License in the state of Alaska
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Alaska
- Orthopedic and surgical experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS
- Must reside in or near Anchorage, Alaska.
- Have general knowledge of EMR software and Outlook Programs
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
