Job description

ROLE (summary): Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides quality care to residents which are supportive and complementary to nursing practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES (tasks):

• Provide ADL care to residents, tailored to their need and in accordance with their plan of care
• Maintain safe, clean environment for residents; protect their belongings; clean equipment as needed
• Observe and report changes in condition of the resident to the charge nurse and regularly shares observations regarding resident behaviors
• Complete documentation as required
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality
• Preserve dignity, privacy and self-respect of all residents
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to alarms and emergencies
• Assist with answering the phone
• Assist with admissions and discharges; readying room and resident, marking belongings, removing contraband, gathering equipment, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: From $15.86 per hour
