JOB SUMMARY: Nursing Manager is responsible for overseeing the care, services and programming for individuals with enhanced healthcare needs beyond the level of care regularly provided in assisted living.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Meets with residents, family members, and healthcare team to create and implement care plans for residents with higher acuity needs and ensure physician orders and resident needs are communicated, executed and documented appropriately.
- Conducts rounds to monitor care, nursing services, and resident condition. Works licensed nursing shifts as needed.
- Monitors resident census, staffing and programming to ensure compliance with regulatory and company care standards.
- Responsible for overall supervision of team members working in the high acuity level of care, which may include recruiting, training, and performance management.
- Works as part of the interdisciplinary team to evaluate residents needs and conditions to ensure they are provided the level of care and services needed.
- Works with DHRS to manage the clinical aspects of state or federal government survey process. Implements corrective actions and generates responses to survey as needed.
Requires: Licensed Vocation Nurse with CPR certification. Minimum of 3 years experience with proven leadership and team development skills.
