School, Shrewsbury Mountain School, Wallingford Elem. School, and Tinmouth Elem. School) SUPERVISED BY: Director of Student Services, Assistant Director of Student Services, Building PrincipalsBASIC FUNCTION: To provide direct occupational therapy services, evaluations, and consultative services to eligible students.

WORKS WITH: Students, Teachers, Administration, Parents QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including students, parents, school faculty and staff, administration, etc.2. Ability to work both independently and as part of multiple educational teams.3. Ability to provide research-based best practices in the field of school-based occupational therapy.4.

Must possess all appropriate clinical and/or state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide direct occupational therapy services to eligible students in grades PreK-12, amongst all (5) schools within the district. 2. Provide legally-compliant and high-quality evaluations for students in grades PreK-12.3.

Attend and actively participate in all district-mandated professional development opportunities. 4. Complete goal-setting, data-collection, and progress-monitoring tasks for students on the occupational therapy caseload.5. Utilize ongoing professional interpersonal communication skills including verbal and written communication to maintain positive and proactive communication with faculty/staff, parents, and other stakeholders.6.

Assist with professional development for teachers and staff to further abilities to meet student needs.7. Other responsibilities as assigned.
