Our client is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists to join their team.

Description:
An occupational therapist helps patients accomplish treatment plans and accept therapeutic activities by administering manual physical exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities, as well as in applying assistive and supportive quality care. OT will assess and interpret evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with the physician(s). OT will document patient care services by charting patient and department records in compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. This is done by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.

Your duties will include

• SOC Start of Care
• Eval
• Follow-up after the patient continues to meet eligibility requirements for home health services. Medicare does not stipulate a limit on how many episodes are allowed for any home health benefit, including maintenance therapy.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Candidates must possess state licensure
• 1 year of home health experience as an occupational therapist
• Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
