Job description
We are looking for a creative Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our vibrant Occupational Therapy Department within a leading Foundation Trust teaching hospital. Working specifically with the Outpatient teams, we are looking for an individual who is organised and keen to work directly with patients under the direction of a qualified Occupational Therapist.

As part of a large and dynamic Occupational Therapy Department, you would be required to be committed, motivated and passionate about providing a high quality Occupational Therapy Service with the support from qualified Occupational Therapists. You would be provided with regular supervision both from a Senior Occupational Therapist and through peer support.

Full Time, Part Time or flexible hours would be considered.

To undertake Occupational Therapy delegated tasks with patients with a wide variety of conditions and needs.

To actively participate in supervision, own development and appraisal.

To actively participate in the Occupational Therapy departmental training and service improvements.

To carry out clerical tasks within the department, e.g. photocopying, ordering equipment, general tidiness.

To work collaboratively with patients, their family and the multi-disciplinary team.
