Office Assistant

Santa Barbara - Temporary - $22/hour

Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 5pm

Do you have basic office and customer service work experience? A hotel in Santa Barbara is looking for a temporary office assistant to work for about a month while they conduct a recruitment. This position will work in their accounting department. This role does not require any previous accounting experience. We are looking for someone with customer service experience and who is comfortable learning new processes.

  • Respond to guest inquiries, charge inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to support continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service
  • Participate in the production of monthly accounts as directed
  • Execute internal control over revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities of the hotel
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
  • Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with other finance departments and corporate departments they support
  • Collaborates with manager to establish specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish project/department goals
  • Researches and responds to information requests from internal departments and management
