Job description

We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail, while being able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities. Being a small office, the Assistant's role is broad and varied, from shipping and receiving to filing and answering phones.

Responsibilities

  • Organize office, while aligning with the established system
  • Answer phones in a professional manner
  • Assist customers with inquiries & reach out to management when unable to answer questions customers may ask
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
  • Assist as needed in shop with shipping and receiving

Skills

  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Software
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fulshear, TX 77441: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Clerical: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Required)
