POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Office Administrative Coordinator you will support the administration of business aspects of Kiewit Power Delivery in our Westlake, TX office. The responsibilities can include: accounting, data entry, processing data, providing support to human resources, as well as handling payroll, procurement, taxes, accounts payable and company or outside equipment rental. The Office Coordinator manages the accounting functions per deadlines and standardized procedures.

LOCATION

This position is based out of Westlake Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involvement in compliance programs including, regulations and accounting policies
  • Compliance with federal and state sales/use taxes, payroll, and property taxes
  • Contract administration, including documentation to support subcontracts, material contracts and owner progress estimates including bonding, insurance and lien releases
  • Supervise accounting functions on multiple job sites
  • Solve all standard accounting issues that may arise.
  • Administer Project Filing Index System (PFIS)
  • Review and understand Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) principals and front end/payroll and Prolog application
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Support the Kiewit office via administrative duties
  • Organize and conduct meetings
  • Maintaining records as required regarding job progress, and costs
  • Coordinate work with other co-workers on the job
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor or manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous office management experience preferred
  • High School diploma, GED equivalent, or above
  • Must have excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office (Primarily Word and Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Exhibits integrity & ethical behavior in all things; understands Kiewit ethics policy of knowing and acting within policies and practices

  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.

  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
