Job description
Summary: Supports the corporate office team. Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondences, designing filing systems, preparing requisitions and providing administrative support to the Customer Services Manager. This is a non-exempt position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answers phones and greets visitors; monitor phones and assist or redirect callers in a positive, professional manner.
- Collates and distributes incoming and outgoing mail (US Mail, UPS, and Federal Express).
- Prepares supply requisitions and orders office supplies for multiple departments.
- Archives electronic files (bills of lading, etc.), prepares and maintains reports for compliance and regulatory filings.
- Provides back-up as needed for the Customer Service, Accounts Payable, and Billing departments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma; Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred; or any equivalent combination of training, experience, and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- 3 years’ experience in receptionist and administrative office support; Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable transactions processing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and 10 Key by touch required.
- Requires reliable transportation to pick up mail.
- Ability to climb stairs, lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs., and pass a pre-employment drug test.
Compensation:
The wage range is $19.73 - $24.60. Typically, the hiring range for this position is $19.73 - $22.16, based on a candidate’s experience and qualifications.
