Job description

We are an online book retail business that receives thousands of books into our warehouse each week. We are in need of an individual to utilize our software to scan each individual item into our inventory and organize it in our warehouse. Then, upon sale of items, you will be responsible for pulling the items and generating their shipping labels.

You will also be required to pick up mail from nearby PO Boxes and deliver outgoing mail to the post office from time to time.

Additionally, we do bulk inventory pickups from different libraries throughout Central Texas and the individual in this position will be responsible for those as well. This duty will come with supplemental pay and requires that you be comfortable driving a Uhaul box truck and physically capable of loading and unloading heavy boxes of books.

This job requires a self-starter who takes pride in accomplishing a task and can remain focused without constant supervision or management.

Applicants should be capable of working quickly and will be held to standards of how many books must be gone through each day.

This position will require you to be on your feet during the day and you must have the ability to lift and move bins of books.

Individuals must be prompt and have good time management skills.

This position will be full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
We are a small team and have only three other individuals in the office. All work is naturally done at least 6 feet apart from other employees.
