OR Nurse Manager/OR Nurse Supervisor
Mayfield Spine Surgery Center is looking for an Operating Room Manager to join our team!!!
The OR Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing nursing care and related activities. Performs duties of Operating Room and assists in PreOperative/PostOperative patient care as needed.
Our spine surgery center uses the latest technology and surgical innovations to help our patients feel better. Here, patients receive personalized, attentive care from experienced nurses and physicians
Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this position include the direction of nursing care and all related activities which result in patient and physician satisfaction, coordinating the availability of all equipment needs according to physician requests, providing for maintenance of adequate drugs and supplies, education and supervision of personnel, and environmental control.
Position Duties:
- Supervises and directs nursing care given to patients within the department, according to nursing principles.
- Provides optimal qualified personnel for the Operating Room
- Assists in the provision and control of supplies and equipment needed for optimal operation.
- Promotes educational opportunities and staff development.
- Maintains a safe environment for patients and personnel.
- Assists with administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Current state licensure required
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
- Management experience preferred
- Two years of operating room nursing experience preferred
