ARServices is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Research & Development Directorate (DTRA RD), Operations Department (RD-OP). In this position you will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the RD-OP front office and three divisions within the department.
The overall duties involve working closely with the OP front office leadership team and coordinating with the human resources, finance, agreements teams, OP task manager, and others to receive and review department data, build reports, presentations, and other deliverables in order to provide routine updates and recommendations.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate exceptional communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced program management environment.
Principal Duties
- Consult directly with Department-level leadership.
- Coordinate across DTRA and within RD/RD-OP to track and manage human resources, finance and support agreement matters for the RD-OP Department.
- Utilize spreadsheets and databases for the sustainment and tracking of human resources, finance, such as: Department Vacancies and Hiring Actions, Incoming Personnel, Military Awards, and Performance Reports, Budget execution, and status of agreements.
- Maintain department progress reports, records, and statistical reports such as finance execution and agreement status by coordinating directly with RD finance, and RD-OP leadership teams.
- In coordination with RD-OP task manager, analyze assigned tasks, coordinate tracking, and ensure responses meet DTRA and DoD correspondence guidelines to external and internal tasks.
- Serve as the RD-OP Department Support Agreement Manager, ensuring all support and international agreements adhere to DTRA and DoD guidance.
- Consolidate raw data for senior-level documents, briefings, and reports; and fuse into finished products.
- Utilize the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2; also known as “Task Management Tool” or “TMT”) and Microsoft SharePoint to facilitate actions.
- Review Defense Travel System (DTS) actions for the RD-OP Department for adherence to the Joint Travel Regulations.
- Routinely brief senior-level customers regarding resource management actions such as human resource status, inputs to tasks, awards, fiscal execution and agreement status.
- Integrate and deliver all Department inputs as organized and consolidated responses, facilitate senior-level review and approval, and submit on behalf of the Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Significant experience in Joint Forces and/or military management may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- Strong MS Office Suite skills.
- Demonstrable experience managing senior-level operations functions.
- Highly effective communicator. (Verbal/Written)
- 8-10+ years of Government experience
- Secret clearance, eligible for TS

- Prior experience with DTRA and/or comparable Defense Agencies/Federal components.
- Experienced senior NCO or Officer with strong operations office experience. (Experience in a Joint Forces setting a PLUS!)
- Experience with military or government personnel systems and policies.
- Experience working with Federal funding.
- Experience with the ETMS2/TMT task management system.
- Familiar with Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Familiar with DAWIA acquisition process
- Active TS/SCI clearance
