Job Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations and Maintenance Technician in Mashpee, MA.
What you will do:
You will be responsible for operations and maintenance (O&M) of nine Air Force Civil Engineer Center groundwater treatment plants and their process equipment and control systems; monitoring and sampling of water (plant and groundwater) to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and local regulatory standards. Daily duties would include supporting the O&M team in conducting the following tasks: performing inspections, repairs, calibration, and programming to process controls and equipment as well as general maintenance and sampling of systems.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Must have working knowledge of the following: building, facilities, and grounds maintenance; piping and water systems; industrial and municipal wastewater treatment operations; electrical troubleshooting and repairs; mechanical repairs and inspections of pumps, motors, and valves and process equipment and control systems.
• Electrical, maintenance/repairs of equipment experience strongly desired.
• OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred.
