Job Title: Operation Manager
Location: Ridgefield Park NJ
Pay rate range: $25/hr. to $28/hr. on w2.
Top 3 must-have skills/requirements:
1. 3-5 years Operations and Project Management experience
2. English and Korean Bilingual verbal and written communications
3. Perform quantitative analysis with advanced skill with Excel and PPT
Position:
The primary objective of the Operations Manager II is to support Customer Care mobile Product Liability operation program management activities including project plan creation, resource planning, and project status monitoring & reporting. The goal of the Operations Manager is to lead various functions and projects and support initiatives on-time, in-scope in a time sensitive environment. To achieve the highest project performance, the person in this position is expected to maintain effective and timely communication with key stakeholders and leaders within the department, team, and cross-department where applicable.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members in the Customer Care department
Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports, with analysis and recommendations
Manage 4-7 ongoing and ad-hoc projects that may include KPIs and Metrics
Ensure that all projects have required documentation as they move through the project tollgates
Collaborate with project/program developers and business leads to keep project in scope
Communicate to Product Liability leadership on project status and escalation/decision points
New product launching risk management related specifically to product liability
Works cross functionally with HQ teams in Korea and SEA operations to manage all possible risks
Qualifications:
3-5 years of hands-on operations and project management experience
Expertise in MS, Excel, and PPT
Proven capability to analyze data and develop a course of action
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and drive to resolution
Process, procedure, strategic planning and project development experience
Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams.
Experience communicating with mid to top-level leaders (status reports, emails, presentations, F2F)
Experience working within the wireless and home appliance industry a plus
Experience with product development or testing a plus
Experience working in a complex and wide organization and department
PMP certification a plus, Six Sigma certification a plus
Takes project ownership and possess leadership qualities with an entrepreneurial approach
Previous experience in mobile or consumer electronics preferred but not necessary
Bilingual English and Korean highly required
Skills:

Apply critical thinking and imaginative solutions to analyze and present solutions to challenges based on data
Communicate professionally both verbally and through written correspondence
Explain reports and analysis to all levels of the organization

Project management skills advantageous

Able to perform complex quantitative analysis (Advanced Excel skills) to flag risk and report in timely manner
Capability of storytelling visually and speaking to small groups 5-10 people
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or Masters-level degree a plus but not required (or equivalent experience)
