Our client is a well known, established Mechanical and Electrical contractor based in the North East of England. They are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role responsibilities:

• Ensuring engineers are on the correct job at the correct time and have the correct tools for the project.
• Ensuring the business is compliant in all departments.
• Liaising with coordinators and company directors.
• Overseeing all operational tasks.
• Strategize process improvements to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and budget.
• Ensuring contracts are adequately resourced.
• Ensuring communication between functions is effective and used to maintain and encourage continuous improvement.
• Drive and motivate the whole team to achieve the efficiency challenge required by the customer.
• Maintain excellent relations with our various clients, and to identify and secure new business opportunities.

The person we are looking for:

• Previous Management experience is required.
• Ideally come from a construction background but is not essential.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Can establish and maintain good working relationships.
