Operations Supervisor - Civils

About the Role:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for assisting the operations team in managing the engineers on site and delivering the service to the customer, assuring we are on the correct site, at the correct time, with the correct equipment. The Ops supervisor would also be required to carry out Health & Safety audits on site, ensuring your team are working safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.

You will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with company vehicles and plant within the Depot, making sure they are calibrated and serviced correctly with the support of their transport division.

Support engineers out in the field with any issues.

You will be on site with less experienced engineers to assist with training and advising as they gain experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously held a supervisory position and supervised a team of field based engineers and are looking to progress you career. This is predominantly a field based role and a company van is provided to enable you to work on various sites as and when required.

About You:

• You must also have excellent IT skill with the ability to use all Microsoft packages.
• Previous drainage / civils experience and experience of liaising and supervising a team
• Ability to communicate well with both field based engineers and office based staff effectively
• Flexibility in your approach to the role
• A full driving licence is required with no more than 6 penalty points
