Intake Specialist is responsible for educating prospective clients about CCGH programs, initial review of client applications and contact with applicants to collect and verify required documentation to help ensure applicant eligibility for applicable CCGH programs. Bilingual in English/Spanish required.


The Expertise We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Two (2) years of experience social service setting or similar setting

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License

  • You must demonstrate time management skills.

  • You must demonstrate success in dealing with a variety of people and situations.

  • You must have the ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • You must have strong verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish.

  • You must have strong customer service skills.

  • You must have high degree of discretion with confidential information.

  • You must have experience working for a non-profit organization preferred.

  • You must have experience in grant reporting or related duties


What you Deliver

  • You must distribute program information to community partners, prospective clients and locations where prospective clients may congregate to promote community knowledge and interest resulting an acceptable level of program applications.

  • You must participate in community events to engage prospective clients and encourage submittal of program applications.

  • You must answer basic program questions and instructs prospective clients how to submit application.

  • You must provided first-level review of program applications. Collects and verify documentation to determine eligibility.

  • You must refer eligible clients to case managers for further assessment and service provision. Provides community referrals to non-eligible applicants.

  • You must input pertinent client data in designated agency database.
