A Community Outreach Specialist for a Free Community Solar Program is a sales or marketing professional who visits homes and businesses to educate people about the benefits of a free community solar program and to sign them up for the service. This role typically requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a comfort with door-to-door sales. Key responsibilities may include conducting educational presentations, explaining the benefits of the program, handling objections, and gathering information from prospective customers. The specialist will need to have a thorough understanding of the program's terms and conditions and be able to explain them clearly to potential customers. They will also need to be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
