Position Summary

Provide coverage for Shipping Lead: ensure accurate and efficient results for the shipment process, act as a lead on the shipment process for launches on 2nd shift, train fellow associates on the standard operating procedures for tote closing/shipping, designate work assignments for shipping clerks.

Essential Job Functions

· Monitor shipping process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

· Follow safety rules and regulations.

· Coordinate training in all matters related to tote closing and shipments with supervisors and facility trainers.

· Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the shipping process.

· Assist Production Supervisor in developing and complying with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assuring compliance by associates.

o Receive assignments from Production Supervisor.

o Follow established programs, procedures, policies, and practices.

o Actively participate in relaying concerns to management, issue resolution, and communicating with supervisors and management.

Minimum Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Desired Previous Experience/Education

• Previous shipping experience
• Proven communication skills to effectively communicate information to management and fellow associates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.69 - $21.93 per hour
