Job description

Wynndalco is looking for resources to be Mobile Speed Operators. Central locations are based in Harrisburg, Pittsburg, and Philadelphia. We are offering full time and part time positions.

From these central locations, the Mobile Speed Operators may have to travel 100 miles or two hours to specific construction sites all over the Pennsylvania roadways and highways. Transportation and training will be provided. May be required to tow a trailer on occasion with the company supplied vehicle.

Two shifts are available – 5am – 3pm and 5pm – 3am.

Candidates will have to go through and intensive background check and drug screening. Candidates also must have a clean driving record not having any infractions within a two year period.

Responsibilities

• Drive to construction sites (according to the daily schedule)
• Put signs that are 500’ to 1,000’ from the vehicle
• Carry 35 pounds signs, 5 – 15 pounds sandbags
• After setup, stay in the SUV for processing pictures of violators
• Before the shift ends, collect the signs and sandbags

Requirements

• Steel-toe shoes (must be provided by candidate)
• Strong communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to determine the proper medium of communication based on issues at hand.
• Professionalism and the ability to work well with different groups of people are important
• Quality driven, strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet all assigned deadlines in a rapidly changing and high pressure environment
• Basic familiarity of computers with the ability to learn and navigate a variety of computer systems/software
• Minimum of 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass full background check and drug screening
• Reliable vehicle and up to date vehicle insurance is a must to get to work. (Vehicle will not be used for work, company vehicle is provided)
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
