Instructional Paraprofessionals and One-to-One Aides (Teacher Assistants)

Hawkswood School is searching for Instructional Paraprofessionals and One to One Aides (Teacher Assistants) to work with students on the autism spectrum and students with multiple disabilities. We have full-time positions available starting immediately or with notice to current employer.

Paraprofessionals work closely with students under the direction of the classroom teacher and therapists in meeting each students individual program goals through academics, functional communication skills, social skills and behavioral supports.

Hawkswood School is a private school in Eatontown, New Jersey, approved by the State of New Jersey to provide special education services and supports to students on the autism spectrum and with multiple disabilities, ages 3-21. We are committed to empowering students with disabilities to be self expressed, self directed and contributing members of their families and communities.

Previous experience with special needs children or adults is helpful.

Employment Requirements:
