Job Summary:

FAR Group is looking to hire housekeeping services personnel to provide Housekeeping Service for the Columbia Environmental Research Center to Sanitize and clean environments. Duties include maintain and perform up-scaled janitorial operations due to COVID-19:

Qualifications:

• Have existing cleaning experience.
• Be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Take pride in and are dedicated to their work.
• Have high standards of cleanliness.
• Have experience with floor waxing and floor buffing.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language.

Duties:

• Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc.

Specific Tasks:

• Vacuum Carpets: Vacuum carpeted areas. The carpeted area shall be free of all visible dirt, debris, litter, and other foreign matter.
• Trash Removal: All trash containers shall be emptied and returned to their initial location. Boxes, cans, and papers placed near a trash receptacle and marked "TRASH" shall be removed.

• Disinfection: the employee shall disinfect all doorknobs, door handles, and common hand contact surfaces.
• Floor cleaning: the employee shall sweep and mop all floors except carpeted areas.
• Restrooms / shower cleaning: The employee shall disinfect, clean restrooms, showers, toilets, etc.
