Position: PT Summer Pre-K Teacher Location: Community Education Summer ProgramReports to: Adult Education Program Coordinator and Director of Community Education Description of Position: To lead the coordination of the Community Education summer half-day Pre-K childcare program to ensure proper instruction and activities for students to increase their academic and social emotional skills. Perform various instructional, clerical and other related duties, to meet the objectives of the program.- Part time Pre-K Teacher to facilitate half day childcare summer programming. * Monday through Friday AM: 8:30am to 11:30am * Beginning July 5, 2023, through August 11, 2023 * Salary range based on experience and education Performance Responsibilities Include but not limited to: * Coordinate daily routine of activities, play time, and snacks * Provide loving care and attention to each child and promote healthy self-esteem in each child. * Supervise staff and students * Maintain confidentiality * Provide an education environment that is emergent, challenging, warm, inviting and is based on inquiry and play. * Excellent classroom management skills * Turn in curriculum to supervisor in a timely manner.
