Dairy Farmers of America is a global food Cooperative focused on quality, innovation, and the future. At our facility located in Goshen, Indiana, we process over 250,000 gallons of milk a day into condensed skim milk, cream, or nonfat dry milk powder. To ensure we are able to achieve our goals and provide a second to none product we operate 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. We are searching for other dedicated team members to join us in accomplishing our commitment to quality via integrity and passion.
This position will support our Maintenance Department by completing the following tasks:
- Pulling, cleaning, and organizing various parts
- Catalog parts within the facility via data entry
- Assist with parts research, as needed
- Will train on SAP, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance and Reliability best practices in a food industry environment
- Basic knowledge of equipment and parts
- Comfortable working with the team as well as independently
- Effective communicator via verbal and written communications
- Practical knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Task oriented and able to meet deadlines in a timely manner
