Primary Duties: Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the payroll accounting transaction cycle, including monthly account reconciliation to the general ledger. The Payroll Manager will also be responsible for maintenance of payroll records, computation and processing of payroll and reviewing federal / state filings. This position must ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.

In this role you will:

Manage, coordinate and verify supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely daily and month end reporting of payroll transaction cycles.

Payroll preparation and processing, including document maintenance and monthly account reconciliation.

Reviews bi-weekly payroll report verifying payroll accuracy, including payroll deductions.

Assist with completion of month-end closing, annual budget and year end audit.

Reviews all federal and state tax returns and W-2’s for accuracy and completeness.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with 5 years of payroll work experience exceeding 1,000 employees.
