About the Job:

The Nutrition Group is looking for Payroll Specialist to join the Human Resources and Payroll team in the corporate office located in Irwin, PA. This position will work Monday-Friday, daylight hours.

Duties may include:

• Entering hourly and management payroll along with all payroll reporting
• Complete employment verification
• Complete workers compensation forms
• Organize and manage the union employee information such as rates, dues and uniform allowances
• SERS experience
• Run labor distribution and summary reports
• Daily communication with managers, hourly staff, and senior leadership
• Work with necessary people and departments to notify of and correct any issues that arise
• Some travel is required to administer trainings and attend company meetings

Qualifications:

• Experience with payroll in a company who has employees in multiple states.
• Proficiency with ADP, specifically ADP WorkForce Now
• Accounting Experience is required
• Complete understanding of Payroll flow into the General Ledger
• Understanding of Microsoft Great Plains Accounting Software helpful
• Ability to work in a Team Environment
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
