FOCUS Children’s Therapy Center, a program of Liberty POST NJ.FOCUS Children's Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary therapeutic center based in Tenafly, NJ and was established in 2000. FOCUS offers a holistic team approach with a variety of interventions for children with a range of diagnoses and issues including OT, PT, SLP, ABA, Psychotherapy, testing, etc.
FOCUS is looking for an energetic and devoted part time pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a team member you will have an opportunity working with knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated colleagues, full administrative support, regular supervision, and monthly team meetings.
Job Type: Fee for Service
Pediatric Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy sessions for children with various diagnoses (ex: ASD, dyspraxia, gross motor delay, etc.).
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations.
- Work two to three afternoons.
- Be willing to conduct center-based and home care services.
- Skilled in supporting children in school and at home
- Have a minimum of a master's degree in physical therapy.
- Licensed in the state of New Jersey.
- Knowledge of New Jersey State laws/ regulations to Occupational
- Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computer and databases
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Have a minimum of two years of experience working with children in therapy and conducting evaluations.
