Mobile Anesthesiologists is expanding, and we have immediate openings for Full and Part Time Peri Anesthesia Staff RNs. As the Peri Anesthesia RN, you will be responsible for the pre, intra, and post-operative patient care.

Work hours: Monday – Friday; no evenings, Sundays, overtime, or holidays are required. Some Saturdays-incentivized and negotiable.

Work location: Outpatient anesthesia – in the surgeon's office-based OR/room or within an ASC setting.

The Perianesthesia RN implements quality perianesthesia nursing care, along with and under the guidance of the anesthesiologist, according to practice policies and procedures. You will regularly participate in continuing education programs, including but not limited to mandated nursing and medical staff programs, as indicated by quality assurance monitoring, as you provide the best possible patient care to our patients.

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in the state of TX IL
• At least 3 years of critical care, emergency room, or PACU nursing experience
• Experience caring for both pediatric and adult patients is preferred
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Possesses the ability to perform basic physical exams and initiate intravenous catheter placement

Our team of anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and registered nurses provide pre-operative, anesthetic, and post-operative care for various office-based surgical procedures. The Mobile model is that of a traveling surgery center – we provide the same medications, supplies, equipment, and emergency preparedness, but at the physician's office.
