Auberle Seeks Permanency Specialist - Full-time

Auberles SWAN program falls under the Foster Care department which provides a home setting for children and youth that cannot be with their family. A range of foster care services are offered to meet the needs of children and youth and their birth families, when possible. SWAN services at Auberle currently include, but are not limited to, Child Preparation, Child Profile, and Family Profile units of Service.
This position requires:
- Bachelors degree preferred; related experience and lived experience may be accepted
- Demonstrated computer knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and Windows environment.
- A valid PA drivers license, registration, vehicle and proof of insurance are required
- Ability to obtain Act 33/34 (child and criminal) as well as FBI clearances pre employment, pre-employment physical
Essential Responsibilities:
- A proven track record of effectively working with the community, schools, faith-based organizations, and other appropriate supports that build resilience among teens and strength among caregivers.
- A proven track record of successfully working with the client population: young children, teens, foster families, families of origin and/or adoptive or custodial families.
- Complete SWAN training requirements in order to provide Child Profile and Chile Preparations units of service to Allegheny and surrounding countries.
- Document case activity thoroughly and efficiently within established timeframes.
- Assure compliance with SWAN policies and procedures, Sanctuary Certification, State Regulations, County Contracts, and Agency Policies and Procesures.
- Excellence in writing skills and multi-tasking with a passion for excellence and a work ethic to support it.
- An innovator, capable of creating or seizing opportunities to improve service effectiveness and client outcomes and build strategic partnerships with other organizations.
