Correll Law Firm, PC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of litigation for motor vehicle collisions, including discovery, Medicare and Medicaid liens, and disbursement schedules. The majority of the caseload involves assisting car accidents victims.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to confidentialy draft basic pleadings, motions, and advanced discovery requests/responses
• Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials and depositions
• Organizing and managing case files and exhibits
• Communicating with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
• Assisting with settlement negotiations and preparing settlement agreements
• Preparing disbursement schedules and working with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate payments to clients
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law and legal precedents related to personal injury cases

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal
• Familiarity with all aspects of litigations for motor vehicle collisions, including discovery, Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare liens, and disbursement schedules
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,439.00 - $70,675.00 per year
