JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Description Personnel Logistics Advisor with Stork:


The Personnel Logistics Advisor will contribute to the delivery of providing suitable personnel to our Operations business. This will include the scheduling of training, mobilisation and demobilisation of all Stork field personnel in-line with Stork Procedures, Minimum Standards, and Client Minimum Standards and in accordance with company HSEQ policies, in order to support HR Delivery in the employment cycle.


Tasks and Responsibilities as Personnel Logistics Advisor:


Mobilisation and Demobilisation


  • Maintain strong working relationships between The Resourcing Team, HR, Supporting Functions, allocated project teams and product lines.
  • Ensure only technically competent personnel are mobilised in accordance with Stork and Client Minimum Standards.
  • Responsible for mobilisation of the correct personnel to the required location, in a timely manner. For example: Training, Check-in times, Occupational Health, PPE & Accommodation.
  • Pro-actively address to employee queries seeking advice where required.
  • Fully develop relationships with the adhoc and core workforce to ensure improved employee engagement.
  • Ensure employee certification in line with company standards and client requirements.
  • Issuing of Terms & Conditions, Assignment Schedules ensuring they are returned signed and uploaded to Pathway prior to mobilisation.
  • Seniority reports are to be produced weekly and supplied to relevant Managers. This will ensure; down man forms are submitted, Pathway is up to date with correct movements and personnel are reallocated to minimise standby costs.

Business planning and reporting


  • Ensure personnel movements are accurate and pathway is continually updated to ensure compliance.
  • Delivery of departmental projects within agreed timelines.
  • Meet with assigned project teams to discuss resource requirements / expiring certs and highlight any potential issues and concerns, providing solutions where appropriate.
  • Provide support during compliance audits from the client, regulatory bodies and training boards i.e. ECITB, OPITO, Lloyds Register, and Internal Audits.
  • Work closely with the allocated HR Advisor to ensure an excellent all round service is provided from HR Delivery

HSEQ / Emergency Response

HR


  • Responsible for fully investigating problematics and providing relevant information to HR Advisor, Project Manager and Recruitment & Resourcing Team.
  • Support sickness absence management for field personnel assigned to allocated Client groups, providing regular updates to HR Advisor & Project Managers.
  • Completion of Occupational Health referral forms.
  • To support with consultations as required.
  • Minute take at employee relation meetings.
  • Preparation of letters.
  • General support to HR activities.

Education & Experience

Education

  • HNC/D/Degree and/or appropriate level of experience within a multifunctional organisation.

Experience and Skills

  • Personnel logistic experience essential
