Duties and Responsibilities
Make daily phone calls to request payment from customers & update notes on customer records.
Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, wires, ACHs and credit card transactions.
Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
Send invoices to customers
Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
Maintains records of customers files.
Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customers, customer service departments, etc.
Analyze deductions and resolves
Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Ad-Hoc projects
Requirements
General knowledge of accounting preferred
3+ years of Account Receivables experience
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
3+ years of experience with SAP Software. MAS 200 is a plus
Good written and oral communication.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
