Employer Solutions Service is currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector who is responsible to inspect manufacturing area and processes, test materials or products, monitor manufacturing operations and equipment to certify compliance to quality company standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and safety, uses variable or attribute measures instruments and techniques to ensure confo1mance with specifications.

SHIFT: 02:00PM - 10:30PM

STARTING PAY : $19.00/PER HOUR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspection and release of manufacturing areas before startup of operations to ensure that these have been properly cleaned, all components of previous processes were completely removed and are free from potential sources of cross contamination or Mix ups.

• Conducts in- process inspection on materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance with specifications, procedures and company quality standards.

• Monitors environmental conditions of operational areas.

• Documents inspections, monitors results and reports issues with the potential to compromise product quality.

• Completes forms, documents and reports in a legible, timely and accurate manner.

• Discards or rejects products, material, and equipment not meeting specifications.

• Check manufacturing and packaging records to ensure that processes are completed and that entries are performed in compliance with Good Documentation Practices.

• Collects samples of packaging components, in -process materials, pre-manufactured and finished goods for QC Lab, R& D, Engineering, Validation, reserve and for other testing as required.

• Identifies in-process materials, pre-manufactured and finished goods with QA status tags i.e. "QUARANATINE or "RELEASED".

• Ensures gowning and hygiene procedures are properly followed.

• Other duties within Unipharma Quality System as deemed appropriate.

• Assists with the issuance and reviewing of documentation.

• Assists with Quality and related trainings.

• Performs sampling of raw materials.

• Supports in conduction of internal and regulatory agencies compliance audits and inspections.

• Other duties as deemed appropriate

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in English (speak, read and write) with legible handwriting.

• Ability to follow technical work instructions and use equipment safely with a high level of expertise.

• Ability to compare, read, record identification numbers, alpha numeric in nature accurately.

• Adequate math skills in adding, subtracting multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions decimals as well as calculating averages and other basic statistical calculations.

• Basic knowledge of the metric system unit and U.S. equivalents.

• Adept at staying on task and focused to ensure timely and accurate completion of duties.

• Ability to grasp and feel product using fine, repetitive finger manipulation when performing inspection procedures.

• Proficient in performing repetitive and tedious motions for up to 8 hours.

• Capable of visually and manually identifying differences and non-conformities in products being inspected to meet the job requirements, including differentiating color and tones.

• Basic computer skills. Experience using Microsoft Office application. SAP experience is desirable.

• Must be able to apply GMP principle to daily activities.

• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
