Under general direction, as the pharmacist in charge for PMC Infusion Pharmacy Services, the Infusion Services Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing all procurement, receipt, medication storage, medication security, preparation, and distribution of clinic-administered medications for the Pacific Medical Center Infusion Pharmacy Services location site(s) as assigned; ensures that Infusion Pharmacy Services provide optimal service as it relates to medication administration; meeting all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements; complying with all applicable policies & procedures, codes and standards of practice.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of training in the specialized functions of preparing and dispensing compounded parenteral products as prescribed in WAC 246-871, USP Chapter 797 and USP Chapter 800, including the principles of aseptic technique and quality assurance.
• upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License.
• 5 years Professional experience as a pharmacist; or a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent and provides the required knowledge, abilities, skills and license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with compliance, pharmacy financial reconciliation, patient or provider education, primary care and specialty clinic functions, and or infusion services.
• 1 year Related pharmacy infusion experience.
• Leadership or management experience.
