Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee’s leave of absences, sick calls, and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. As part of the Scripps Health pharmacy team, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians provide a broad range of clinical services at our sites and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other health care team members to deliver high-quality, efficient services to patients and staff. The Pharmacy Tech I is responsible for performing basic pharmacy technician duties. Works under the supervision of registered pharmacists.

This is a full-time (80 hours per two-week pay period) float pool position at all 5 Scripps locations with varied shifts, including rotating weekends.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California Board of Pharmacy Certification
• Certification by National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

• 1-year inpatient experience preferred or hospital externship
