Job Title:- Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities:-

This position is responsible for supporting the practice of pharmacy, performing delegated tasks, and performing drug distribution, compounding, record keeping, and clerical activities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

In this position you will:

Interpret, assemble and label prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.

Understand the requirements for handling, distribution, inventory control and security of controlled substances and follows procedures.

Demonstrate proper infection control, hood cleaning, sterile technique, calculations and basic workflow of IV room.

Use prepackaging equipment labels and records correctly.

Demonstrate proper technique in cleaning of the vertical flow hood and in preparations, labeling and disposal of chemotherapy.

Required qualifications:

Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program.

A current license to practice as a pharmacy technician in the State of Washington

1 year hospital pharmacy experience.

Salary: $35,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Seattle, WA 98101: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
