PHYSICAL THERAPIST LEAD - FULL TIME – PARK MANOR BEE CAVE- BEE CAVE, TX
Our expanding network of independently owned and operated healthcare facilities is growing in Austin and we are scouting for a full time PT LEAD to join our in-house therapy team at Park Manor Bee Cave.

Duties:
- Engages with developments in the field through connection with local, state, and/or national associations to promote new, skilled, clinically appropriate, and evidence-based care.
- Represents the rehab department in the interdisciplinary team at assigned meetings where clinical care and decisions are made/discussed.
- Communicates effectively with administration regarding service programs, goals, objectives, problems and successes.
- Communicates effectively with physicians regarding patient problems, progress and service programs.
- Effectively screens/evaluates patients and/ with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Participation in required meetings including but not limited to patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.
- Participate in facility and company required trainings, in-service and conferences.
- Able to supervise and support physical therapist assistants; rehabilitation aides and/or students.
· POTENTIAL SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Physical Therapists
· Physical Therapist Assistants
· Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapist Assistant Students
· Rehabilitation Aides
Effectively screens/evaluates patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: manual techniques; ambulation; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; wound care; etc.
Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
Qualifications:
· Licensed Physical Therapist
- Two years’ experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.
