Job description
Full-Time
- Greet patients and callers in a professional, friendly and welcoming manner
- Answer all in-coming phone calls promptly and handle as necessary
- Check-in patients and verify billing information
- Run daily superbills and clinical staff schedules
- Obtain authorization and re-authorization for physical therapy services
- Track prescription expirations
- Maintain active patient statistics and schedule appointments
- Collect co-pays and co-insurance
- Track encounters
- Assist with patient prospecting and events
- Assist in the Fitness Center and other areas of the Wellness Center as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience with medical data entry and scheduling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effectively able to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work with little direction
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately
- Excellent math skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Detail oriented
- Heavy experience with customer service and client communication
- High School graduate or equivalent
