About the role

  • Design, develop and deliver company PIT equipment training to ensure company standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Develop training based on the Company's safety and job skills programs, compliant with OSHA regulations applicable to our industry
  • Administer learning schedules and maintain participant training records
  • Develop and review standard safety practices, on-site safety or skill training and ensure all relevant procedures are being adhered to.
  • Document any hazards, incidents or employee issues Deliver onboarding and orientation for new hires which includes review of Company policies, procedures and job skills.
  • Conduct training based on procedures
  • Monitor work related injuries and illnesses, inclusive of investigations, and conduct root cause analysis along with Safety Committee and Supervision
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to Management Assist in administrative duties as required

About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Must be able to work flexible days/hours as needed
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to address both Management and employees
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a project from start to finish
  • Strong organization, documentation and presentation skills
  • Maintain priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of OSHA and safety regulations preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Other duties as required and assigned by the manager
