Job description
Bona Italian Restaurant is seeking professionals with Smiling Faces – Pizza Cook / Line Cook. A minimum of 2 years experience required as Hand Tossed PIZZA COOK. All Applicants must be "TEAM ORIENTED", Energetic and Motivated.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stock and manage assigned station and ensure quality of food served.
- Be resourceful, clean & and show organized working habits with attention to detail.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the manager on duty or chef
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of fast-paced kitchen work environment experience.
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time, and work in a fast-paced, front-facing pizza oven.
- Able to carry/lift heavy objects when needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Can make hand-tossed pizza dough.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Can think and act quickly in a fast-paced, and high-volume environment.
- Maintain a current Food Safety Certificate
- Upbeat and outgoing attitude.
- Passion for hospitality and service.
- Must have a commitment to team success.
- Must have a friendly, warm, and caring demeanor towards your teammates and patrons.
- Does not wait for problems to arise - takes the initiative when spotted.
- Must be conscientious & punctual.
