About the role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Transport Planner in our high-performing Planning team. The Transport Planner is responsible for coordinating the transport requirements as well as ensuring we have the correct headcount to deliver this plan, whilst also adhering to hours, rules, and regulations, as well as to the Working Time Directive. The role entails creating daily and weekly transport plans, dealing with enquiries, liaising with agencies, working closely with Supply Chain and Operational teams, monitoring LGV driver attendance, and regular KPI reporting and optimisation.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised individual who is passionate about building a career in Planning. You will need some Planning experience in the logistics Transport industry and have strong numeracy and literacy skills. You are able to use your Excel skills to report on and analyse data. As a natural problem-solver with an eye for detail, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and you are great at managing conflicting priorities. You pride yourself on your excellent administration skills, and you always deliver exceptional customer service.
