Planning & Analysis Manager
We are looking for a creative and curious Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Business Planning & Insights team. You will be at the forefront of delivering the student number planning and insight capability at Solent and will be working within a dynamic team who are keen to increase the impact of our work.
The role is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in business planning at Solent and will lead the implementation of our new student number planning model and process for the university. You will ensure that the process responds to the institution’s strategy, plans and priorities and that we are continuously improving how we deliver.

You will work with stakeholders across the university to provide strategic insight and evaluation in support of activities such as business and student number planning, internal performance monitoring and external benchmarking.
We are looking for a strategic and analytical thinker who is confident in working with multiple sources of data and information to derive insight and create forecasts resulting in clear and actionable recommendations. You will have a collaborative approach, with excellent communication skills, the ability to manage varied requirements and to present data in engaging formats.
Reporting to the Head of BPI, you will have a passion for insight, a creative approach to developing solutions for a range of audiences, supported by a positive can-do attitude with the ability to anticipate and respond to complex stakeholder requirements. As the BPI function is a relatively new team at Solent, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and transformation of the team.
