Maintenance Mechanic III, Plumber - Company Vehicle + Paid Vacation + Only Work 233 Days Per Fiscal Year + Week Off Spring Break, Week Off Thanksgiving Break, Two Weeks Off Winter Break, and Most Major Holidays.

Second Shift: 1pm - 9pm

Starting Salary: $49,570 - $63,588 (Pending Board Approval Salary Increase 7/1/2023)

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Vocational school or any equivalent combination of training and experience preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required
• 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing preferred

Certification/Licensure:

• Journeyman Plumber License required
• Valid Georgia Driver's License required
• Masters Un-Restricted Plumbing license preferred
• Eligible to acquire CDL

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade
• Skilled in use of hand and power tools, testing equipment and attachments related to the trade
• Must be able to understand and follow directions both written and verbal
• Must be able to work variable shifts

Step placement credit may be granted for up to a maximum of 12 years (Step 12) of prior verifiable experience. Salary placement with Fulton County Schools is non-negotiable. Actual salary placement will be based on Fulton County Board of Education experience calculations from the Non-Teaching Salary Schedule A-235, Professional Scale, Step 1 - Step 12.
