Job description
The Patel lab is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow with an interest in translational research in myeloid leukemias. Dr. Patel is a physician-scientist whose research focuses on the molecular biology of cell signaling and resistance to targeted therapies in myeloid neoplasms, and the intersection of aging, inflammation and leukemogenesis. Patel lab members are expected to regularly work with with human leukemia cell lines, primary patient samples and PDX/transgenic mouse models. This program is strongly integrated with Dr. Patel’s clinical practice and her ongoing clinical trials and correlative studies in chronic myelomonocytic leukemia and MDS/MPN overlap disorders. Candidates should submit a CV, cover letter describing their specific interests in the lab, and contact information for graduate advisor as well as at least one other reference.
